Workshops

By opting to purchase, allocate or possess tickets to a Norris Floristry workshop/event you automatically agree to our terms of use.

Please note that Norris Floristry reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the website of the organiser – www.norris.store. These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of any tickets.

Ticket prices are non-negotiable.

The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access a specific Norris Floristry workshop/event, when it is scheduled to be hosted. The license includes the revocable right to attending the workshop/event. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at its sole discretion, without any prior notifications or compensation options. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry at the venue.

Kindly note that www.norris.store is the sole authorised source for purchasing tickets. If you obtain your ticket(s) from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The issuer has the right to dishonour such stolen/counterfeit tickets and declare them as void.

Tickets delivered to you are not meant to be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You cannot use the ticket(s) for any promotional/advertising purposes either (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

Please note that tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.

Norris Floristry has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of the ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of Norris Floristry will be deemed final (i.e., the issuer will remain the final arbiter in cases of disputes).

If a workshop/event is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, Norris Floristry has the sole and absolute right to:
-
i) reschedule the event, or
-
ii) move the workshop/event to a live online workshop/event, or
-
iii) not issue any refunds.

Please note that the decision of the issuer in such cases will be deemed final and binding.

If a workshop/event is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, the latter will postpone the workshop/event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, government announcements, strikes, delays in production, and the like. Once again, the decision of Norris Floristry will be considered final.

If a workshop/event has to be rescheduled to other dates, you will not be eligible for any refunds.

All ticket sales are deemed as FINAL TRANSACTIONS. There will be no ticket returns/exchanges/cancellations.

By purchasing tickets and presenting the same at the venue, you give your consent to Norris Floristry to collect certain information about yourself (name, picture, date of birth, gender, address, etc.) for verification or other purposes relevant to the running of the workshop/event.

Freelance support

Freelance Services
Payment. We will invoice our clients for services rendered. Invoices will be submitted via email. Invoices submitted are due for payment upon receipt unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
Cancellation
In the event of the client wishing to terminate or cancel a booked service, a 10-day notice is required. Cancellations within the 10-day period from commencement will be charged at the full rate and be subject to our payment terms.
Reimbursement of expenses
The client will be expected to reimburse us from time to time for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in connection with providing freelance services. All expenses must be pre-approved by the client.
Interest on late payments.
A 10% late payment charge will be applied to any outstanding payments beyond the payment deadline. A further 10% charge will be added for each day of late payment following on from thereafter.
Capacity/Independent Contractor
Upon booking one of our freelance services, it is expressly agreed that we are acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee. The client acknowledges this agreement does not create a partnership or joint venture between them and is exclusively a contract for service.
Intellectual Property
NORRIS Floristry Ltd asserts the moral right to be identified as the author of any work in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. NORRIS Floristry Ltd reserves the rights to share images of works created by its floral designers and affiliated staff. As owner of the copyright NORRIS Floristry permits the client to share images of works created by NORRIS Floristry Ltd provided the author (in this case NORRIS Floristry Ltd) is formally credited.
Driving of Client Vehicles
We are happy to drive client vehicles up to 3.5tons. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that we are covered on their business vehicle insurance. We will not be held responsible for any damages caused. Usage of NORRIS Floristry Vehicles We are happy to utilise our own van on select and pre agreed occasions only to support our clients. Standard milage charges to and from the client’s main base to the delivery location/s apply. Further charges may apply.
Tools/Equipment/Material
Unless otherwise agreed, the client will be responsible for providing any tools, equipment and materials required to carry out the expected scope of work. Parking Unless free parking is available, any parking charges incurred by us will be invoiced back to the client for payment.
